General Information

Punctuality

  • Punctuality is highly valued in Breakthru.
  • 1st lesson on Outdoor Play starts at 8.30am daily.
  • Kindly sign the Early / Late-Dismissal Record Book from class facilitator when taking your child earlier or later than normal dismissal time.
  • In the event of unforeseen situation and you are not able to pick up in time, please inform class facilitator through your child’s group chat.
  • Please be informed that the late fees of RM15 for every 30 minutes will be incurred in your child’s invoice accordingly (after 30 minutes of grace period).
  • You may consider placing your child at Breakthru Afternoon Care Service and be supported for RM25 an hour basis.

Prepare these things for

Please label all your child’s belonging with black permanent marker.

  • Snack box and healthy snack
  • One water tumbler.
  • One packet of wet wipes for wiping hands. 
  • Two sets of clean changing clothes in a plastic bag.
  • 2 clean bath towels to be used during movement intervention sessions in the centre.

Birthday Celebration

All birthdays will be celebrated on the last Wednesday of the month during the Breakthru Fun time.

Parents are welcomed to celebrate together with their child at Breakthru from  11.30am-12.30pm by bringing healthy snack or child’s preferred party food. Thank you  for your cooperation.

How do we communicate with parents (you)?

Telegram Announcement Group

  • Important announcement and dates will be informed to parents through our Class Telegram Group.
  • The groups are seperated according to program, ie. A.C.E / E.PI.C. etc, So please visit the group that your child belongs to.
  • You may want to install Telegram from Playstore (Android) or Appstore (iOS) on your phone to make using of Telegram easy and fast.
  • PC version of Telegram can also be found at Telegram’s website (https://telegram.org/

Individualized Parents Facilitator Telegram Group

  • Weekly activities’ photos / videos will be shared at the personal Telegram group.
  • Please update us of any important information or concern about your child achievement and struggles.
  • You may do so by sending short videos clips of your child doing the same activities at home through the Telegram Group.
  • Suggestions for improvement or recommendations will be further discussed during the monthly Parents Consultation Meeting (PCM).

Parents Consultation Meeting (PCM)

  • Parents are invited to book in advance for the 10 monthly sessions of PCM. You may choose your available slots on every Friday. Attached is the PCM flow for your attention.
  • We welcome consistent communication for the betterment of the children as we believe Breakthru children’s progress and achieve agreed developmental milestones goals depends on collaborative approaches between the parents and facilitators.

Internet is vast, taking advantage of the Internet and the many social media tools, keeping track of each service can be overwhelming. Therefore  we have consolidate all our important links and services in one location, one login.

  • The link to this portal is https://breakthru.my/
  • You will be given access to this portal when your child register for our program.
  • The email and password that you use when you sign-up an appointment for assessment, is also your credentials to login at this hub.

This is what we need from you.

Instruction for Medication

  • Please provide the class facilitator with proper instruction of any medication prescription, verified with parent’s signature and date on the Medical Prescription Form. 
  • Please do not put the medications inside the school bag. Any verbal instructions given over the phone will NOT be entertained.
  • Instructions need to be in written form hand over to the facilitator as well as screen shot into the group chat.

Security

  • Upon arrival, parents are required to personally bring your child to the Breakthru gate.
  • Please forward to us the Authorisation Form if person other than parents are taking the child home. Otherwise, it is our responsibility not to release your child.

Payment process

Fees Payment

  • Monthly fees are due on the 7th of each month.
  • All monthly fees are to be fully paid regardless of child’s absence, going on holidays, semester break or any other reason. Payment can be made by eBanking / cash / cheque / credit card (with 1.8% interest).

Please do not write in short form. Always write your child’s name and the   payment month for the fees on the reverse side of the cheque.

  • eWallets After payment is made using the QR Code, please screenshot the payment successful screen in the group chat.
  • Credit Card payment is available at the office.

Termination or Withdrawal

30 days written notice and with one (1) month fee is required upon termination / withdrawal.

Refund or Transfer

For those who made payment via online or credit card, they have an option to transfer the fee to the next course, purchase training materials, or ask for refund.

Transfer Policy:

  • You can request to transfer fee only for services or products within same company. For example, fees paid to Breakthru Academy cannot be transferred to Breakthru Enrichment Station services, and vice versa.
  • All transfer request must be made prior to the commencement of the class or schooling month. Fees that are paid for classes that already started are not refundable, including monthly class fee. There is no prorated amount.
  • A transfer is processed as a refund and repurchase – different transactions are created for the cancellation and the new purchase. You’re charged fully for the new transaction minus the refunded amount, and required to pay the cost difference if there is any.
  • The new purchase total should equal or be greater than the returned amount.
  • There is no Administrative charges or gateway charges for transfer.

Refund Policy:

For a refund, there is an Administrative charge of RM20 in addition to the below refund policy of our online payment gateway KiplePay:

  1. A service charge fee between 8%-2.5% will be deducted by payment gateway from the paid amount.
  2. RM1.00 (inclusive Tax) imposed by bank for internet banking payment is not refundable.
  3. Request for refund is applicable for request made within 30 days from the transaction date.
  4. Payment for refund will be made within 12 working days after verification.
  5. Payment gateway reserved the right to deny refund, for any reason, at their sole discretion.
